Interesting news that Channel 4 want to follow this blog during the lection campaign as part of their election coverage.

Should be interesting to see what they make of it!

So come on Kevin, tell us more. Do you know how many other blogs they're going to be looking at? Will it be a selection from all the parties? Or will it be comparing blogs within consituencies? I must admit, it would be excellent if there were some direct comparisons between the various candidate's blogs in Kingston as its such a great way for us to question you all.

That said, I haven't come across the Lib Dem and Labour blogs yet ... anybody know the addresses?

Hope that Kevin will forgive a rival appearing on his blog - unlike the Lib Dems I won't get abusive!

There is a semi-completed Kingston Labour website at www.kingstonlabour.com and I will have my own website finished soon. I am happy to include a blog if enough people think it's a useful contribution to debate.

Can't see Ed Davey doing the same, however, given the trouble he seems to have updating his own website!

Regards

Nick Parrott
(Labour Parliamentary Candidate)

Feel free Nick, good to hear from you and hope things are going well.

I believe that you are also opening your new party HQ in Kingston soon? Things might be looking up for Labour in Kingston just when they look less good nationally.

I agree with you about Ed Davey and his website. The only thing he posts are some pretty tired mumblings he prints in a local paper, and he does not do that very frequently.

Good luck anyway.

Hi, Nick Labourparliamentary candidate! Great to hear from you! Not every day a representative of the most evil fascist government this country has ever seen shows his face.

You've got some nerve coming here and trying to suck up to Kevin Davis. Have you no shame?

I don't think a blog from you would be a useful contribution to the debate. You come from a party whose political currency is hypocrisy, lies, oppression of freedom of speech, and smear campaigns. I hope the Tories and LibDems crush you beyond recognition at the polls.

Thanks for the info Nick, I'll take a look.

Unlike the anonymous post, I think its always good to hear as much information about all candidates as possible. I know it won't happen, but maybe a joint blog could be set up for all three of the main party candidates in order to have you debating various issues.

Thanks Mr Anonymous - I always like to get a reaction, though I think you'll find that what you call "sucking up" is actually just common courtesy. Though that's not something with which you seem to be acquainted unfortunately!

I am more than happy to have an online debate, but I think it would have to wait until the "short campaign". Like the other candidates, I have a full time job in the meantime!

As for Ed Davey, he seems to have suddenly updated his website with three months' press releases so perhaps there is hope yet.

It's almost as if he read our earlier remarks! :-)

Cheers,
Nick Parrott

So the Labour candidate thinks he is the guardian of "common courtesy" now? That is pretty rich coming from a representative of a party that slings openly anti-semitic insults at opposition politicians, smears OAPs and rail crash victims when they dare to question the government, and ... well I could go on, but I think we're all far too well acquainted with their vicious lies and smears by now.

What about that MP in Scotland who was driven to suicide because of the evil invective hurled at him by the Labour party? How much "common courtesy" was he shown?

No, Nick Parrott. You are in no position to lecture people about courtesy.

And furthermore, you accuse me of not being acquainted with common courtesy, but actually I am acquainted with it, I just don't BOTHER to use it for someone who represents one of the most oppressive governments this country has ever seen.

There's a time and a place for common courtesy, and when our country and freedoms are being threatened by a bunch of socialist-fascist liars, thieves and warmongers like the Labour party, common courtesy is the last weapon I feel like employing.
