Marsden makes about turn
Not sure you would want this chap to join you! Still he demonstrates what we have been saying all along; a vote for the Lib Dems is a wasted vote as only two parties can win this election.

Surely Paul Marsden defecting is just the case of jumping from one high tax left wing party to another high tax left wing party.
In any case as Kevin makes the point the last person you would want to join the Conservatives is a left wing turncoat.
It wasn't a Labour MP who defected to the Lib Dems, it was a Labour candidate in a Conservative seat. Clearly he wasn't serious about winning, so he should feel at home in the Lib Dems!
