This is probably the last bit of news that Lib Dems want to hear but apparently John Hemming is considering standing for the leadership election.

The whole election would turn into a farce and Ming the Merciless and his Ming Wing will pull the party apart so maybe a mad man at the helm would not be a bad thing!

Still, all of this leadership business goes to show that butter might melt in the mouth of a Lib Dem after all. If this is how they treat an alleged alcoholic how would they treat the 'vulnerable' and 'the excluded' (yawn!) if they ever got into governmment?
As a Conservative I can think of nothing better!!
