Now it appears that Ken Livingstone is intending to put in place a congestion zone in Kingston - a key town centre.The ruling Lib Dem administration have a dislike for the car and it will therefore be interesting to see how they respond to this.Read more at www.timesonline.co.uk/a...

Lets just charge the rest of the country to cross the M25 into London.
The charges can be made astronomic now that so many folks have moved into the Shires and have to commute, £50 per day sounds good.
Then we can all drive happily and not have to suffer the rush hour trains to Waterloo.
Of course we could just become pro car,build a few fly overs,bridges,tunnels and rip out humps,necks and assorted street furniture.Get traffic and industry moving again,create wealth and send all the eco warriors to Tristan Da Cunha
