LCA predicts Tory win in Kingston

I am never really sure whether this type of thing is the kiss of death or something to spur us on.

We have a lot of work to do and an enormous amount of literature to put out but optimism is high in the team and we have some excellent new and young candidates who are enthusiastic and active.

Who knows where this might lead us?

I think you'll find one Tony Travers involved...I'd be careful with that survey, if I remember rightly he's the same guy that slated Livingstone in 2002 only to praise him in 2003...not to mention that it's made the the Standard which isn't really known for it's support of the Labour party...especially now Ken's back....or the LibDems for that matter.

I must admit I am not a natural fan of the Evening Standard but Tony Travers track record for predictions seems quite good - even if his picking of friends is a little sloppy.

Actually got a copy today from Internet...takes ages to find it. Thought I'd compare comments on Richmond with Kingston...it implies Labour might win a couple of seats...even says Labour's only place in Kingston is a "battleground". Funniest of all is that is says the LibDems have a chance of taking Richmond at one point in the report.
