Croquet Prescott

Should Prescott have been playing croquet last week? I am split on this as the guy should be allowed a life outside of politics but then......should he have been playing whilst the boss was a way and he was in charge of the country?

If he had been playing darts with the lads in the local and enjoying a pint he would be regarded as a jolly good bloke.
One can keep control today quite easily with modern comms and I cannot get vexed about this incident.

The man is however a menace but should be retained until the N/Lab luvvies wake up and get rid of Brown who is truly dangerous.

I think the only reason Blair keeps him there is because he is the bridge with the trade unions who still weild a mighty sword. Certainly it is not because of his talent or intellect - but I suppose the same could be said for many a local councillor.

Can't say it really bothers me. Okay so he was relaxing for a time - albeit he chose an unfortunate way to do so. Politics is a job of irregular hours - the man quite probably had worked all morning, and then continued to do so off into the evening. Who knows if he wasn't working whilst playing at croquet? Businessmen having meetings whilst playing golf isn't exactly an unusual occurrence after all.

I don't like Presoctt, I don't think he should be getting all his perks, and I certainly don't like his personal morals ... but I still hope most people can see past this croquet thing which is just a product of media hype and stale class politics.

His Labour comrades think croquet is the sport of the upper classes. That's why his selling out upsets them so much. You never know, he will be fox hunting next.

No no, he is returning to his working class routes with a vengeance - his wife is even back shopping at Asda when she's normally a Marks and Spencers shopper (according to the Daily Telegraph!!)
